I’m so thankful for the chance to work with such a diverse, cool group of talented people.  I’m a dairy farmer, and yet I get to choreograph the Mikado!  How cool is that?  I get off a hay wagon and get to teach some wonderfully talented music majors from MU to waltz. How cool is that?  My children get to have excellent instruction in music and acting, not to mention people, besides family, who will teach them great life lessons, like being on time, trying hard, being a good sport and doing one’s best. How cool is that?   

I can’t imagine the last 20 years without the wonderfully evolving gift of Hamilton-Gibson. How else would our community have known what gifted, caring, giving people exist in it?  What a wonderful gift to me personally. A completely undeserved gift is probably the best way I can describe how I feel about H-G and the people I’ve gotten to know through it.

Janelle Davis lives in Little Marsh and has choreographed many of the HG musicals and drama camps. All five of her children have participated in either one or more plays/musicals or the children and youth choirs.
